No stranger to cancer
I was raised in a family of seven children, 3 half brothers, 2 half sisters, and 1 younger biological sister. November 2, 1998, I lost a brother to esophageal cancer. In 2003 an older sister passed away of complications of the heart as my mother did back in 1985. On April 20, 2005, my father passed away of lung cancer, and on September 11, 2006, I lost another brother to a brutal form of melanoma of the nose. In November of 2007 my father in-law, whom I loved as dearly passed away with lung cancer as well.
Sadly I sat and watched them all leave me, but it is God, and them today, who are my guardian angels that watch down on me and give me the strength and courage, to fight this terrible illness.
